Long before COVID-19 popularised the concept of house call doctors and telemedicine, our house call doctor services (or locally known as Doctor Home Visit) were a core part of Speedoc’s care. Today, we’ve optimised our doctor home visits to ensure you get the highest quality of care at your fingertips.
House call doctors, or doctors on call, are just like doctors you consult at your neighbourhood clinic – except you speak to them from the comfort of your home. Our house call doctors go to where you are, instead of you having to spend hours waiting at the A&E or your nearest clinic.
At Speedoc, consultation is similar to the ones you would receive at your regular clinic.
Upon arrival, our house call doctor will ask about your symptoms, take a complete medical history, conduct a thorough physical examination, and diagnose your condition. He may also perform laboratory investigations and others, if necessary.
If you need medication (either oral, topocal or injections), the house call doctor can prescribe these to you on the spot or have them delivered to you within 3 hours after your consultation.
All our doctors are licensed with the Malaysian Medical Council, subjected to extensive background checks
Get connected to a doctor as soon as possible and receive delivery (charges apply) on your medications after the home visit
We work with the government and official insurance companies to ensure that you have access to quality care
A 30-minute consultation for one person starts from RM250. This includes the doctor’s transportation fees but does not include medication. If you require medication, these can be provided at an additional cost.
During the same visit, other family members can be seen at RM100 per person. It is best to let our house call doctors know early about other patients they might have to see, so that they can come prepared with all the medications that might be needed.
Payment can be made at the end of the consultation via credit card, and online transfer.
Our house call doctors are available from 8 am to 12 midnight, with 24-hour call support, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
