STDs that are caused by yeast, parasites or bacteria can be cured with the appropriate medication. STDs caused by HIV, HPV, hepatitis, genital herpes and cytomegalovirus cannot be cured; however you should still receive treatment to minimise your risk of passing the infection to others and to eliminate or reduce the symptoms.
